In 1989, major renovations to a residence owned by the Hospital and provided a permanent home for Adult Day Activity and Support Services. The Centre is an establishment which brings together the elderly and the handicapped, providing them with in turn foster a feeling of wellbeing. Approximately 50 people attend every week from Monday to Friday. Some of the activities are exercising, indoor swimming, craft work, and day trips. They make craft and woodwork and have a street stall once a year which is always a great success.
